Admissions to the MCA programme of all universities/institutions, which conduct admissions on an All India basis or have seats earmarked for candidates from other states, is to be conducted as per the AICTE Public Notices dated 27.10.2003 and 28.10.2003, on the basis of the AIMCET Score.
Certain state governments (for state quota seats) and institutes (for management quota seats) have also indicated that admission to their MCA programmes will be based on the AIMCET Score.
These include Uttaranchal (100 per cent), Jharkhand (100 per cent), Chhatisgarh (100 per cent), Uttar Pradesh (50 per cent), Madhya Pradesh (20 per cent), Maharashtra (100 per cent), Tamil Nadu (15 per cent), Kerala (15 per cent), Delhi (15 per cent), all the National Institutes of Technology (100 per cent), all deemed universities (100 per cent), IIT Roorkee (100 per cent), IT BHU (100 per cent).

The attention of all MCA applicants is drawn to the following points:
- In addition to applications made to individual institutes of their choice, candidates should also apply to IIT, Roorkee, for AIMCET-2004, to be held at various centres throughout the country, on June 6, 2004.
- All candidates will be supplied with the AIMCET scorecard after the test.
- AIMCET application forms are available at designated branches of the PNB and IOB banks.
