Even the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference is not immune to cricket!

The amalgam has deferred its meeting to discuss the Centre's invitation for the second round of talks with Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani on March 27. And the reason? Its members want to watch the game between India and Pakistan in Peshawar on Friday.

The joint session of the Hurriyat's executive committee, general council and working committee, scheduled for Friday, will be now held on Saturday, its chairman Maulana Mohammad Abbas Ansari said in Srinagar.

"I am not a cricket buff but others are definitely interested in the game," he said in Srinagar. "Looking at the public response to the first two games, I do not think there would be any serious business conducted tomorrow."
