Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna on Thursday said the Special Task Force constituted to nab forest brigand Veerappan has cornered the outlaw.
He expressed hope the fugitive would be captured any time 'before or after election'.
The STF has been controlling 75 per cent of the forest area, restricting Veerappan's activities only to the remaining area, the chief minister told the media in Bangalore.
Regretting that his government still could not capture him, he expressed hope that 'if god wishes, he will soon be captured'.
