Alert: Admissions to PG medical courses

Admission notice for post-graduate medical courses

The Jagjivan Ram Hospital, Western Railway, Mumbai Central, invites applications for admission to post-graduate diploma courses at the College of Physician and Surgeons, Mumbai, in the following specialities:

Orthopaedics: 1 post

Paediatrics: 1 post

Obstetrics and gynaecology: 1 post

Anaesthesiology: 1 post (Non-stipendary for the first term)

Psychiatry: 1 post (Non-stipendary for the first two terms)

Eligibility
The candidate should have passed the MBBS examination held by any recognised university and completed compulsory rotating housemanship. S/he must hold registration from the Maharashtra Medical Council.

Criteria: There will be a written test followed by an interview. The minimum marks for passing the written examination will be 50 per cent. The administration has a right to reject candidates without assigning any reasons.

Applicants who are government doctors must attach an NOC from their employers.

Applications forms may be obtained from Jagjivan Ram Hospital's reception counter on any working day until July 7, between 10 am and 1 pm.

The last date for the submission of the completed application form is July 10.

The written examination will be held on July 20 from 10 am to 11 am. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after 10 am.

This will be followed by personal interview. All candidates are expected to present their original documents for verification.

Admissions will be made on a provisional basis and are subject to approval by the CPS Board.
