Ten persons were shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Tinar village in Nalanda district of Bihar, police said on Saturday.
A group of about 10 heavily-armed men raided a brick kiln in the village and fired indiscriminately killing ten persons on the spot, Inspector General of Police Neelmani told PTI.
The dead included the owner of the kiln, Kamat Prasad, he said, adding that a dispute over the running of the kiln was apparently the reason behind the attack.
Vijay Kumar, owner of an adjacent brick kiln in the village, has been taken into custody in this connection, the IG said.
