The University of Mumbai's convocation for the year 2004 will be held in the month of December 2004. Candidates who have qualified themselves for degrees / diplomas and are desirous of conferment of their degrees and diplomas as per University Statute 403 at the ensuing convocation may apply in the prescribed form until August 2 against a payment of Rs 200. Applications can also be made against a late fee of Rs 300 from August 3 to September 3.
Incomplete and late applications will not be accepted.
The prescribed application form, with the challan, can be obtained on payment of Rs 20 in cash from the Mahatma Jotirao Phule Bhavan (Examination House), Vidyanagari, Mumbai -- 400 098; University of Mumbai's sub-centre at Ratnagiri, c/o Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, P-60/ P-60/I, M I D C, Mirjole, Ratnagiri -- 415 639, and also from the principals of the constituent / affiliated colleges.
Candidates who have qualified themselves for Medical, Dentistry, Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathy degrees / diplomas are requested to pay the convocation fees with the prescribed form at the Bank of Baroda extension counter at the M J Phule Bhavan, Vidyanagari campus only.
Application forms can also be obtained by post from the Deputy Registrar (F&A), Mahatma Jotirao Phule Bhavan, Vidyanagari, Mumbai -- 400 098, by sending a self-addressed envelope (25 cms x 10 cms) affixed with postal stamps worth Rs 6, accompanied by an M I C R demand draft of Rs 20 drawn in favour of the finance and accounts officer, University of Mumbai.
