Admission notice: MBA programme 2004-05
The National Institute of Technology (formerly known as Regional Engineering College), a centrally funded institution under the control of the MHRD, Government of India, specialises in technical and professional education since 1960. It offers a full time two-year MBA programme for the session 2004-05.
The programme has been designed with the expertise of leading management experts from reputed B-Schools of eastern India, including the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and the corporate world.
Total number of seats: 60
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from a recognised Indian university. Those appearing in the final of the qualifying examination may also apply.
Admission procedure
Admission to the MBA programme will be based on the All India Admission Test conducted by the Institute, a group discussion and a personal interview. A shortlist will be prepared from those who qualify in the written test. Applicants whose names appear in the shortlist will be called to Durgapur for the GD and PI.
Application procedure
The prospectus and application form can be obtained either personally from the office of the Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Mahatma Gandhi Avenue, Durgapur -- 713 209 on cash payment of Rs 500 from Mondays to Fridays between 10 am to 3 pm. Alternately, send a request along with a demand draft for Rs 550 in favour of the Director, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, payable at Durgapur.

The downloaded application form should be sent along with a demand draft of Rs 550 to the Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur by July 20.
