Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on peace mission to Pak

Spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, will embark on a four-day peace mission to Pakistan on July 19.

Sri Sri Ravi ShankarHe will be the first spiritual master from India to visit Pakistan on such a mission, a statement from Sri Sri Media Relations said.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is likely to meet President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the governor of Sind and the mayor of Karachi, the statement said.

He will also have informal meetings with political and business leaders, religious heads and social activists in Karachi and Islamabad.

Also on the agenda is a meeting with local Hindu community in Taxila.

The visit, the statement said, will be marked by the inauguration of the Art of Living Centre in Karachi.
