Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe into the matter. A bench comprising Chief Justice V N Khare, Justice S B Sinha and Justice S H Kapadia issued the order.
The bench ordered that all records summoned from the magistrate's court through the Gujarat high court registrar
general and the video tapes and other documents produced by the petitioner be immediately handed over to the CBI.
The warrants were the outcome of a sting operation by TV journalist Vijay Shekhar to expose corruption in subordinate judiciary in Gujarat.
