The Mahindra United World College of India announces that admissions are now open for the International Baccalaureate program for the 2004-2006 batch.
A residential college near Pune, the Mahindra UWC is a seven-year-old IB college, offering courses equivalent to the XI and
XII.
Mahindra UWC is a part of the international United World Colleges movement which has sister colleges in Canada, Hong Kong, Norway, Singapore, Italy, Swaziland, UK, USA and Venezuela apart from India.
With only 100 seats each year, Mahindra UWC attracts students from all across the world. About 30 percent of all students chosen are from India.
Admissions close on January 30, 2004.
The admission system for Mahindra UWC is distinctive in that all admissions are done by the United World Colleges
Committee. The UWC Committee chooses Indian students based on merit for the 10 United World Colleges across the world.
