The Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday questioned former Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi's son, Amit, in connection with the cash-for-MLA scam.
Amit Jogi is suspected of participating in a conspiracy to bribe BJP MLAs in Chhattisgarh. He was questioned for four hours during which his fingerprints and handwriting samples were taken.

Amit has denied all the allegations, CBI sources said adding his fingerprints would be matched with those on the currency notes that had been allegedly handed over to the BJP MLAs.
The CBI has filed an FIR under the Prevention of Corruption Act and Indian Penal Code against Ajit Jogi, Amit Jogi and Congress MP P R Khunte, who had earlier defected from the BJP, for allegedly bribing BJP MLAs and trying to split the party after the December 1 assembly elections.
