MBBS 2004-2005 at MGIMS, Wardha
The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha, invites applications for admission to its MBBS course commencing July 1, 2004.
Candidates shall be selected as per their merit in the entrance examination to be held on April 25, 2004 at Nagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The paper on Physics, Chemistry and Biology will have multiple-choice questions, while that on Gandhian thought will be essay type.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination of any recognized Board or Indian University with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually in each subject in the first attempt with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC candidates) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination in March/April 2004 are also eligible to appear for the entrance examination.
Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or before January 1, 1988.
The prospectus and application form with syllabus and question papers of Gandhian thought for the last five years with model question papers of Physics, Chemistry and Biology can be obtained from the office of the Dean by sending Rs 1,050 by Money Order in favour of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, District Wardha 442102 or by paying Rs 1,000 in cash at the college counter.
Candidates should write their full address in capital letters on the space for communication and the space for sender's address in the Money Order form.
The last date of receipt of completed application forms with entrance examination fee of Rs 1,500 is March 18, 2004 and with an additional late fee of Rs 100 is March 25, 2004.
