A two-seater Cessna-152 plane, on a training flight to Billimoria in Gujarat, on Saturday crash-landed in Mira-Bhayander near Mumbai after developing a snag.
The flight with an instructor and trainee, both of whom are safe, landed in an open ground, Bombay Flying Club sources said.
Officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation will investigate the matter.
The 22-year-old plane would be dismantled and brought back to the club, the sources said.
