MBA in International Business

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade -- a deemed university -- invites applications for its MBA programme in International Business 2004-2006.

It is a weekend course -- two-and-a-quarter years of class work followed by a research project.

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution. A minimum managerial experience (including self-employed) of not less than three years as on July 1, 2004.

Age: No age limit.

Mode of Admission: On the basis of essay writing test, group discussion and personal interview to be held at IIFT campus, New Delhi in May 2004.

Reservation of Seats: Seats are reserved for SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India norms.

How to apply: The prospectus containing application form can be obtained from the Institute on all working days between 10 am and 4.30 pm on payment of Rs 250 (Rs 125 for SC/ST/PH candidates) or by post enclosing a crossed demand draft of Rs 350 (Rs 225 for SC/ST/PH candidates) in favour of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade payable at New Delhi. SC/ST/PH candidates to attach copy of the requisite certificate.

Last date for sale of prospectus: Monday, April  5, 2004.

Last date for Receipt of completed application: Monday, April 12, 2004

Foreign nationals residing in India including those working in embassies may also apply for the programme.

The Institute also conducts a one-and-a-half year Executive Masters in International Business for working executives.  Classes are held on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. The application form will be available in June 2004 for the batch commencing October 2004.
