Kanchi Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati on Thursday filed another petition in the Supreme Court seeking bail in a attempt-to-murder case.
The case pertains to an attack on Radhakrishnan, a Kanchi Mutt official, in 2002.
A sessions court in Chennai on December 10 had rejected the seer's plea for bail in the Radhakrishnan assault case, maintaining that there was a prima facie case against him.
The Supreme Court, meanwhile, is scheduled to hear the seer's plea in the Shankararaman murder case on Friday.
