Former Uttar Pradesh [ Images ] chief minister Kalyan Singh [ Images ] told Liberhan Commission that he must have blamed top Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] leaders for the demolition of the mosque at Ayodhya "out of anger".
"Truth is, when I was removed from the party, no one extended support. And what I had said then could have been an expression of anger and dissatisfaction. But I don't recollect if I said it or not," he told the commission.
The Liberhan Commission is probing the circumstances leading to demolition of the disputed structure on December 6, 1992.
"Today, I would like to clarify that there was no conspiracy of any kind by any section," Singh said.
