The Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to former Uttar Pradesh minister Amarmani Tripathi, an acussed in the Madhumita Shukla murder case, on a petition filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation seeking quashing of the bail granted to him in the case.
The CBI alleged that since April 29, 2004, when he was granted bail, the accused had intimidated and harassed the witnesses in the case, including Madhumita's mother and sister.
