Militants hit Congress office in Srinagar

Four Border Security Force jawans have been injured in a militant attack on the Pradesh Congress Committee office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

There are between 10 and 15 Congress workers in the office, which has been completely encircled by security forces.

One of the two militants involved is suspected to have entered the building.

Earlier, militants attacked a campaign vehicle of the National Conference with a grenade at Rambagh in city uptown.

Five civilians and a policeman were injured in the blast.
