A three-member Pakistani team, headed by the chairman of Pakistan Central Water Commission, Jamat Ali Shah, on Tuesday visited the Rs 4,500 crore state-owned Baglihar hydroelectric power project in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The team is here to see if the project is impairing the flow of water to Pakistani territories.

Besides the dam site, the team, accompanied by Central government officials, visited three major construction sites and assessed the water flow at the Chanderkote project site, top officials told PTI.

They held wide-ranging discussions with the officials of the Union Ministry of Water Resources, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation and Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation.

Shah told reporters at Chanderkote project site that Pakistan has several misgivings about the project. "Now we have completed our work and will submit a full report over the project to our government in Pakistan," he said.
