There is confusion over which militant group carried out the attack on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed's house on Friday.

Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani, while condemning the attack, said it was the handiwork of Al Mansoorian, which he described as a front organisation of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.
"It is an act of frustration and this also shows that cross-border terrorism has not ended even now," Advani told reporters in Delhi.
But in Srinagar, Al-Nasireen, which is behind several attacks in the state since last year, and an unknown Farzandan-e-Millat claimed responsibility.
"Al Nasireen and Farzandan-e-Millat jointly carried out the attack on the residence of the puppet chief minister," an Al Nasireen spokesman identifying himself as Syed Wajid Ali told PTI over phone.
Vowing to carry out more attacks on government establishments, he said, "Now our strategy will be different."
