The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday ruled out the involvement of any Indian Institute of Management faculty member in the leakage of Common Admission Test question papers, but hinted that all was not well at the press where the papers were printed.

"Something wrong must have happened in the printing press, which we are scrutinising," CBI Director P C Sharma told
reporters on the sidelines of a conference in New Delhi.

Asked whether the agency had received any communication from the finance ministry, which has decided to handover the probe into the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam to the agency, Sharma said: "We have received something."

He made it clear that the agency will take up investigation "as and when the state government reports it to the agency."
