The situation in Parbhani, where a blast in a mosque left 38 injured on Friday, is "tense but under control," District Collector Madhukar Chaudhary said. He said curfew has been relaxed in some parts of the town.
One of the critically injured has been shifted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, Chaudhary said.
According to some reports, two motorcycle-borne persons lobbed crude bombs into the mosque during Friday prayers.
The curfew, imposed soon after the incident, remains in force in all sensitive areas.
Police is maintaining strict vigil in sensitive Shivaji Chowk, Juna Fonda Nagar and Gujri Bazar Chowk areas of the town.
Three companies of the State Reserve Police Force have been deployed in the town.
