The Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the multi-crore stamp paper racket in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Delhi [ Images ].
Its probe is directed at determining the role of the staff in the Nashik-based India [ Images ] Security Press in helping prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi.

The CBI's involvement follows a request by the respective state governments as also the Union government, which operates the India Security Press.
In Gujarat, the CBI has recovered fake stamp papers worth Rs 8-9 crore.
The CBI chief was on a two-day visit to Maharashtra [ Images ] during which he inaugurated a housing colony for CBI staff in Nagpur on Thursday.
