On Sunday, he flew to Alwar district to the site of a water-harvesting project initiated by Magsaysay Award winner Rajendra Singh, under the aegis of Tarun Bharat Sangh, in Bhaonta village.

The project has been such a success that the villagers, along with those from neighbouring Koylala village, created a wildlife sanctuary. Since then, locals claim to have seen wild boars, hyenas, monkeys, jackals in the area.

It was not the only such project that he took an interest in. His spokesman, Patrick Harrison, said, "The Prince has offered all help from Prince's Foundation for these projects in the future."
