Central Industrial Security Force constable Raj Namdeo, who killed his senior and held six colleagues hostage for seven hours at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, was on Sunday remanded to police custody till May 31 by a holiday court at Bandra in Mumbai.
Apparently angry on being denied leave, the 22-year-old constable shot dead Deputy Commandant Karandekar. He released his hostages and surrendered after persuasions of his parents.
Namdeo will be produced at the Andheri court on May 31.
