A-I says week needed to restore normalcy

May 02, 2003 08:43 IST
Air-India on Friday said it will take at least a week to restore its original flight schedule despite the pilots' strike being called off  late on Thursday night.

"We have put the contingency flight schedule in place and it will take at least a week before we can come back with the original schedule," an A-I official said.

"The tough stance of the Civil Aviation Ministry and A-I management has led to the withdrawal of Indian Pilots Guild's directives on the SARS issue," Air-India's Director Public Relations, Jitender Bhargava, said.
