Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is facing trial in the hunting and poaching of black bucks and chinkaras case in 1998, has been allowed to go abroad by a court in Jodhpur.
The Chief Judcial Magistrate Narsing Das Vyas and District Judicial Magistrate, District, Mohammad Salim, on Thursday accepted the pleas of Salman Khan that he be allowed to go abroad for film shooting and stage shows later this month and in April, the actor's counsel Hastimal Saraswat said.
The court, however, said that the actor could go abroad on the condition that after his return to the country he would physically present himself before the trial court in Jodhpur.
According to the three applications submitted in as many cases, Salman has to go to the United States for recording a song for a film 'Bagwan' (Gardener) from March 20 to April 3 and participate in a stage show in Holland from April 4 to 8. He has also signed up for another show in Dubai.
Salman and others are charged with hunting black bucks and chinkaras at Bhawad in Mathania police station and Kankani in Luni tehsil area in 1998 during the shooting of the film Hum Sath Sath Hain.
