Several trains on the Konkan route were on Monday diverted, rescheduled or cancelled due to the dislocation caused by the derailment of the Karwar-Mumbai holiday special train at Vaibhavwadi in Maharashtra.
A railway divisional release said Train No 6346 Trivandrum-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, rescheduled to leave Trivandrum Central at 2330 IST on 23.6.03 (Monday), was further rescheduled to leave at 0700 IST on 24.6.03 and diverted to run via Tirupattur, Krishnarajapuram, Manmad, Guntakal and Wadi.
No 2617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangla Express, rescheduled to leave at 2200 IST on 23.6.03, was diverted to run via Tirupattur, Dharmavaram, Guntakal, Manmad, Khandwa and Itarsi.
No 1098 Ernakulam-Pune Express, scheduled to leave Ernakulam at 2300 IST on 23.6.03, was diverted to run via Tirupattur, Yelahanka, Yeshwantpur, Arsikere, Hubli and Miraj.
No 6309 Ernakulam-Patna Express, scheduled to leave at 1725 IST on 23.6.03, will now leave at 0700 IST on 24.6.03.
No 2617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangla Express, No 6346 Trivandrum-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Netravathi Express and No 166 Ernakulam-Dadar Summer Special, which were supposed to run on 24.6.03, were cancelled due to non-arrival of pairing trains.
