The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday said 'no final conclusion' can be drawn on the basis of the report submitted by the Archaeological Survey of India to Allahabad high court stating there no evidence of 'any structure' at the disputed site in Ayodhya.

"Such reports have also been there earlier," party spokesman Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

Naqvi, while stressing talks between Hindus and Muslims could be instrumental in solving the century-old discord, maintained that any negotiation without involving the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the All India Muslim Personal Law Board will not result in much headway.

He slammed the Congress for raising the issue of wives of officials being part of Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani's entourage to the US. "The Congress is bereft of issues and has lost its senses and which is why it is digging out such non-issues," he said.

Justifying the composition of the entourage and claiming that the cost to the exchequer was negligible, he said, "Air India had floated a scheme offering one ticket free for every first class ticket purchased. And, if some person is availing that offer what is the problem?"
