Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party president Vinay Katiyar on Friday hinted at early assembly polls in the state view of the fluid political situation.
The BJP chief, who has embarked on a Jan Jagran Yatra (general awareness campaign), admitted that the political situation in the state was 'unpredictable'.
"The opposition is trying to lure BJP legislators with anything between Rs 2-4 crore. In this scenario, the party is prepared for elections any time," Katiyar told reporters Ballia.
However, he hastened to add that the Bahujan Samaj Party-BJP government would complete its full term unless 'unlawful' means were used to topple it.
On the temple issue, he said, "No power in the world can stop us from constructing a Ram temple in Ayodhya. I am hopeful that Parliament will enact a law in favour of temple construction."
