Centre, Bodo rebels to extend ceasefire

The Centre and the insurgent Bodo Liberation Tigers decided on Monday to extend their ceasefire by a month till February 21.

The decision followed tripartite talks involving representatives of the Centre, the Assam government, and BLT to resolve outstanding issues.

A Union home ministry official said the final round of tripartite talks would be held in early February.
