A top commander of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Tayiba outfit was on Wednesday killed in an encounter with security forces in Badgam district of central Kashmir, police said in Srinagar.
Self-styled divisional commander Bilal Habshi, wanted in over 100 cases of killings, including those of policemen, was killed in a joint operation by police and Rashtriya Rifles at Chewdara-Beerwah village, Deputy Inspector General of Police Mohammad Amin Shah told PTI.
