Bhujbal complains of uneasiness; admitted to hospital

Former Maharashtra deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal was on Thursday admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after he complained of 'uneasiness'.

He complained of discomfort just hours after the Nationalist Congress Party meet decided to make Vijay Sinh Mohite Patil the deputy chief minister and R R Patil the home minister.

In a surprise move on Tuesday Bhujbal had put in his papers after some NCP activists attacked the office of a TV channel that had telecast a spoof suggesting that Bhujbal had a hand in the multicrore stamp paper scam.

His resignation also came in the wake of intense pressure by the opposition over his alleged links with prime accused in scam, Abdul Karim Telgi.

Consultant cardiologist Ashwin Mehta told rediff.com: "Bhujbal felt some uneasiness. After a check up it was found that he was suffering from high blood pressure, which is probably due to stress. He has been admitted to the hospital and advised complete rest."

A few days earlier too Bhujbal was rushed to Mumbai from Nagpur and admitted to the same hospital after he complained of uneasiness.
