Major shake up in Mumbai police

Over 125 officers of the rank of Assistant Police Inspector and nearly 1,500 constables have been transferred in a major shake up in the police set up in Mumbai [ Images ].

The transfers ordered by Police Commissioner P S Pasricha includes that of 20 officers from the Crime Branch, who were long overdue for transfer, police sources said on Sunday.
