The Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday questioned former Union minister Dilip Singh Judeo and his personal assistant Natwar Rateria in connection with the cash-on-tape scam.

It was the second time that they were called for questioning in the tape case, which involves Judeo allegedly receiving money from a representative of an Australian firm and promising to give mining rights to the company in Chhattigarh and Orissa.

"Even if you ask me how many cups of tea I had with them, I am not going to tell you," Judeo said after the questioning at the CBI headquarters in New Delhi.

CBI spokesperson G Mohanty said, "They were examined for two hours."

"If need be they will be called again. The CBI will question anyone who needs to be talked to in relation with the preliminary enquiry registered by us," he added.

He refused to confirm whether the identity of 'Rahul', who allegedly gave money to Judeo, had been established.
