Bihar Director General of Police D P Ojha, who was removed from the post, on Saturday night said he will not resign from the Indian Police Service but will not work for the state government in the remaining two months of his service.
Soon after getting his transfer order earlier in the day, Ojha had announced that he would resign.

Ojha, who will retire on February 29 next year, also said he would move court to challenge what he described as his 'malafide transfer'.
"I will file a petition either in the high court or the Supreme Court stating the reasons that led to the state government to remove me from the post of DGP," Ojha had told a crowded press conference in Patna earlier in the day. He alleged that criminal gangs were being supported by 'powerful politicians' in the state.
