R S Sharma does not reply to charge sheet

Former Mumbai [ Images ] police commissioner R S Sharma is likely to face disciplinary action by the Maharashtra [ Images ] government for failing to reply to the charge sheet served on him, home ministry sources said. The deadline expired on Friday.

Sharma has demanded access to certain papers from the home ministry to enable him to reply to the charges framed against him, the sources said. The state home ministry is unlikely to give him any papers. This decision will be conveyed to him soon.
