M Ed Special Education (Mental Retardation)

The National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, Secunderabad, is an autonomous organization under the ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India.

NIMH invites applications for admission to M Ed Special Education (Mental Retardation) for the academic year 2003-04.

The course is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi.

Eligibility: BEd Special Education (Mental Retardation) or BEd with one year Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate (pass for SC/ST candidates).

Application Procedure: The admission to the course is made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Assistant Administrative Officer (TP&S) NIMH, Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad 50009 on payment of Rs 450 (Rs 350 for SC/ST/PH candidates) by DD in favour of Director, NIMH, Secunderabad.
