M Ed Special Education (Mental Retardation)

The National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, Secunderabad, is an autonomous organization under the ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India [ Images ].

NIMH invites applications for admission to M Ed Special Education (Mental Retardation) for the academic year 2003-04.

The course is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi [ Images ].

Eligibility: BEd Special Education (Mental Retardation) or BEd with one year Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate (pass for SC/ST candidates).

Application Procedure: The admission to the course is made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Assistant Administrative Officer (TP&S) NIMH, Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad 50009 on payment of Rs 450 (Rs 350 for SC/ST/PH candidates) by DD in favour of Director, NIMH, Secunderabad.
