Union workers of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation surrounded Petroleum Minister Ram Naik as soon as he arrived at the Juhu aerodrome on Monday to take stock of the situation following the crash of a chopper off the Mumbai coast.

They said he had not done anything to prevent the mishap at the ONGC terminal in which 25 people, mostly from the ONGC, were killed.
The workers also shouted slogans against the ONGC management.
"We told them that the choppers are not in good condition but nobody in the management paid attention," said one agitated worker.
Naik, who was supposed to address a press conference, had to delay the meet because the workers did not allow him to speak or meet anyone.
The minister tried to tell the workers that he would take appropriate action as soon as rescue work was over.
"We want a CBI inquiry soon," shouted a worker at the aerodrome, where the bodies of his colleagues were being brought.
