One killed, 43 hurt in Kashmir attacks

One person was killed and 43 wounded in three grenade explosions in Anantnag district, Kashmir, on Saturday.

A grenade was thrown at a group of ex-militants in Lal Chowk, which exploded on the road. Seventeen people, including two ex-militants, were hurt, police said.

A doctor was killed and 21 wounded when militants threw a grenade at a patrol party of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police at Qazigund.

A third grenade was thrown at a security camp in Kulgam, injuring five civilians.

All the injured were admitted to various hospitals.
