Delhi police seals R K Sharma's flat in Mussoorie

Immediately after the Delhi police seized the movable assets of Ravi Kant Sharma, prime accused in the murder of Delhi-based journalist Shivani Bhatnagar, they attached Sharma's Mussoorie flat in Dehradun district of Uttaranchal state on Thursday.

The district administration on Wednesday evening allowed a Delhi police team to attach the three-room flat located in the Fort Resort area of Mussoorie after municipal records confirmed that it belonged to Sharma, Dehradun District Magistrate Radha Raturi told reporters.

The two-member team led by Inspector Maharaj Singh of the crime branch sealed the flat in the presence of Senior Divisional Magistrate, Mussoorie, K P Singh, Raturi said.

The police have already attached six properties of Sharma, including four houses, and sealed his bank accounts after a Delhi court on September 9 proclaimed him an offender.
