Trains diverted as a result of accident

The Railways have diverted some passenger trains following the derailment of the Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express on Monday night, an official release said on Tuesday.

The Howrah-Mumbai Express (2321), Mumbai-Howrah Express (2322), Howrah-Dehradun Express (3007) and the Howrah-Jodhpur Express (2307) have been diverted via Asansol-Jhajha-Patna-Mughalsarai.

The 2382 New Delhi-Howrah Poorva Express and the 2802 New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express have been diverted to run via Patna-Jhajha stations.

The 3307 Dhanbad-Ferozepur Ganga Sutlej Express, 2815 Puri-New Delhi Express, 2311 Howrah-Kalka Mail and the Howrah-Indore Express have been diverted via Dhanbad, Gaya, Patna and Mughalsari.

The train returning to Dhanbad from Ferozepur (3308) will run via Mughalsarai-Garwa Road and Barka Kana.

The New Delhi-Ranchi Rajdhani Express has been diverted via Mughalsarai, Dehri-on-Sone, Garwa Road and Barka Kana. The New Delhi-Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani Express has been diverted via Mughalsarai, Dehri-on-Sone, Garwa Road and Chander Nagar.

The 2313 Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani will run via Gaya-Patna while the 2314 New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express and the 2312 Kalka-Howrah Kalka Mail have been diverted via Garwa Road-Barka Kana.

The Hatia-Delhi Express will run via Dehri-on-Sone and Garwa Road while the Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (2801) has been diverted via Barka Kana, Garwa Road and Dehri-on-Sone.

The Sealdah-Jammu Tawi Express will run via Gaya, Patna and Mughalsarai.
