Pakistani shelling along LoC; jawan killed

A Border Security Force jawan was killed and two seriously injured in Pakistani shelling along the Line of Control in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, official sources said on Friday.

Constable Vinod Kumar of the 75th Battalion was killed and two of his colleagues, head constable E C Dhar and constable Jai Prakash, injured when a Pakistani shell exploded near their post.

The Pakistani troops resorted to shelling with the intention of pushing militants into the valley, they added.
