The Bombay high court on Monday asked Bollywood star Salman Khan to pay an interim compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family of the man who was killed when the actor drove his Land Cruiser over some pavement dwellers in Mumbai on September 28.
The court also asked him to pay a compensation of Rs 3 lakh to those seriously injured in the mishap and Rs 1.5 lakh to those with minor injuries.
The order was passed by a bench comprising Justice Ranjana Desai and Justice A P Shah.
