Pakistan unable to deport foreign militants

Pakistan is facing difficulty implementing its decision to deport militants of foreign origin as their native countries are unwilling to accept them, an Islamabad newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The investigation by Pakistani authorities and FBI of the United States had been completed and the government wants to deport foreign terrorists to their respective countries, it said.

However, the governments of the militants' native countries were not willing to accept them, the Dawn newspaper said quoting highly reliable sources.

Most of the terrorists are of Arab, Central Asian Republics and Chechnyan origin, the sources told the paper.
