PM discusses terrorist massacre with Cabinet colleagues

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Monday evening met his senior Cabinet colleagues and is understood to have discussed the July 13 terrorist massacre near Jammu in which 28 people were killed.

Several other issues pending before the government, including the proposal to bifurcate Eastern Railway Zone are also believed to have figured at the meeting.

Among others who attended the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani, Defence Minister George Fernandes, External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha and Finance Minister Jaswant Singh.
