Naxalites of the banned People's War Group blew up a state-owned bus on the Hyderabad-Bangalore national highway in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday night, after asking the passengers to get down, the police said.

According to reports, about 12 PWG guerrillas waylaid the bus near Madanapalle and blasted it, after getting passengers to disembark.
