Former Indian high commissioner to Pakistan, S K Lambah, was on Tuesday appointed the government's special envoy on Afghanistan.
He will be actively participating in discussions, particularly on the post-conflict situation, with representatives from France, Britain and Greece arriving in New Delhi later this week, an official spokesperson said on Wednesday.
