PM apprises Council of Ministers

A day after the India-Pakistan summit in Agra, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Tuesday apprised the Union Council of Ministers the details of his talks with Pakistan President Gen Pervez Musharraf.

At the meeting of the Council of Ministers held at his Race Course Road residence in Delhi, Vajpayee was assisted by External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh, who held a press conference earlier in the day in Agra, an official spokesperson told reporters.

On Wednesday, the prime minister will hold a similar briefing for leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Delhi.
