Hurriyat confirms receipt of Pak invitation

The All-Parties Hurriyat Conference confirmed on Monday that it had received an invitation from the Pakistani high commission in New Delhi to attend the 'high tea' in honour of President Pervez Musharraf on July 14.

"We have received the invitation from Pakistani High Commissioner Ashraf Jehangir Qazi for high tea on July 14," former Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq told the Press Trust of India.

The invitation has been extended to all seven executive members of the 23-party conglomerate, he added.
